Quick answer: The best tequila to buy at ABC Fine Wine & Spirits is a 100% agave bottle from a named distillery (check the NOM number) that is cooked in traditional ovens. For sipping under $50, our pick is Don Londrés Blanco ($49.99 at ABC); for a richer pour, Don Londrés Reposado ($74.99 at ABC). Full disclosure: we make Don Londrés, so read the buying guide below and judge for yourself.
ABC Fine Wine & Spirits is the Florida chain most locals call "ABC Liquor," headquartered in Orlando with stores across the state. Its tequila wall is big, which is great for choice and tough for decisions. This guide covers how to read the shelf, what to pay, and exactly where to find Don Londrés at your local ABC.
How to shop the tequila aisle at ABC
- Look for "100% de agave" on the label. Anything without it is a mixto, which only needs 51% agave sugar.
- Find the NOM number. It identifies the distillery that made the tequila. Don Londrés is NOM 1518, in Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco.
- Pick the category for the job. Blanco for margaritas and Palomas, reposado for sipping, añejo for whiskey drinkers.
- Use the price as a filter, not a verdict. Well made 100% agave blancos usually run $30 to $60. Paying more often buys packaging or a famous name.
- Check reviews on abcfws.com and use free in-store pickup to grab it on the way, or same-day delivery in as little as two hours where available.

What is in the bottle: single-estate blue Weber agave matured 7 to 10 years, roasted in brick ovens for 48+ hours, naturally fermented and double distilled in copper pot stills, with nothing added beyond agave and time. Master distiller Francisco González comes from a family distilling tequila since 1905, and the brand was founded with Dre London. More on the Blanco · More on the Reposado · How it is made.
